Links Related to The Homoarchy

The links to LGB websites listed below share some or all of the viewpoints expressed on The Homoarchy (biological sex is central to sexual attraction and LGB and women's rights, there are two sexes/genders, minors have the human right to outgrow gender dysphoria without being over-medicalized, there are problems with trans and "queer" activist extremism)

AfterEllen- A site for lesbian and bisexual women. @afterellen

Arielle Scarcella- Lesbian Youtuber increasingly criticizing extremism in gender and queer discourse and activism. @ArielleScarcell

Arty Morty- Morty is a gay man concerned about pediatric medical transition and gender activist extremism.

Canadian Gender Report: "Parents and professionals concerned about the medicalization of identity and the erosion of sex-based rights."

Cari Stella: Stella is a detransitioned lesbian who transitioned as a teen. She explains this experience in videos here. Her blog is not currently active but is still up, and an interesting survey she did on detransitioned women (an understudied situation) can be found here.

Crash ChaosCats: Crash is a detransitioned lesbian, and insightful blogger on the issue of being a woman in society who deals with gender dysphoria, and who does not fit gender expectations. Her YouTube channel is here and blog here.

The Detransitioners' Advocacy Network"TDAN is a charitable, nonprofit, global effort to improve the well-being of detransitioned people everywhere." @DetransAdv

Fair Play for Women: This U.K. organization has some relevant links reviewing the reality that males with gender dysphoria retain significant advantages over women and girls in sports@fairplaywomen

4thwavenow- This is a site for parents who have concerns about medically transitioning gender dysphoric children, teens, and young adults. They have a heavy focus on protecting lesbian and bisexual youth from medical transition regret (which appears to be increasing dramatically). @4th_WaveNow

GD Working GroupThis site includes Dr. Ken Zucker, who is one of the world experts on childhood gender dysphoria, but is considered very controversial in the trans community because of his more cautious approach to medically transitioning minors. Zucker believes using the affirmative model to treat gender dysphoria is likely to prevent desistance in childhood, thus medicalizing would-be gay, lesbian or bisexual youth. The site also includes other scientists and mental health professionals, such as Ray Blanchard, Micheal Bailey, and Debra Soh@ZUCKERKJ@BlanchardPhD@profjmb (Bailey), @DrDebraSoh

Gender Health Query- "Mission: To prevent the over-medicalization of gender nonconforming youth. To prevent harm resulting from medical treatments on trans-identified minors. And to address confusion and rights conflicts that arise from new ideologies about gender (within and outside of the LGBT community)."

Gender Care Consumer: "The Gender Care Consumer Advocacy Network (GCCAN), founded in late 2019, seeks to empower recipients of gender transition-related care to become healthy and whole." This group is set up to aid both trans people as well as detransitioners.

@officialGCCAN

GNC-Centric: GNC is a desisted lesbian who makes videos that provide insight into how the gender identity movement affects young gender-nonconforming females. @gnc_centric GNC-Centric also runs Detrans Canada, for Canadian detransitioners TorontoDetransMeetup@gmail.com).

Habitually Femme: “Detransitioned woman, lesbian, GC feminist, endo survivor”

LGBAlliance- This U.K. organization was formed to be a voice for LGB people who have concerns about over-medicalizing gender dysphoric minors and conflicts gender activism is having with LGB and women's rights. @AllianceLGB

r/detrans- This subreddit has many posts from detransitioned lesbians, bisexuals, and gay men.

r/lgbdropthet- This is a subreddit used by LGB people who believe gender activism has become too extreme and harms LGB interest and public support. (FTR -" Drop the T" is a controversial term. LGB people should be allowed to criticize trans activism and create their advocacy without including trans issues. But to be clear, The Homoarchy has no interest in alienating reasonable and respectful trans people).

r/truebisexuals- This subreddit is generally anti-postmodern queer theory (i.e., there are "dozens of genders," bio sex is irrelevant). "Hi all :) This is a new community made for us bisexuals who are attracted to the same and opposite sex. Many lgbt subs shame us for who we are attracted to, but here, feel welcome to be yourself."

r/truelesbians- This is a subreddit for lesbians who know there are two biological sexes and take issue with some aspects of current gender ideology. Loss of lesbian spaces and disrespect for lesbians' boundaries are main focuses. Exclusively same-sex attracted women only here, please.

The Boxer Ceiling- This Facebook page documents attitudes of sexual entitlement some gender activists have towards gay men (and lesbians). "the boxer ceiling" is the male version of the original "cotton ceiling," the term for MtFs having difficulty getting into lesbians pants due to lesbains not seeing dysphoric, autogynephilc males, as lesbians.

The Pique Resilience Project: This is a group of young desisted and detransitioned females. Much of what they have to say is critical of the affirmative model and the current gender ideology culture that LGBT youth are immersed in. It is a different narrative than the positive transition stories promoted on almost all liberal media websites, LGBT media websites, and LGBT organization featured stories. @PiqueResProject

Redress Alert: "If you're reconciling with being female after a period of dis-identification--including transition or not--you are not alone."

Rethinking Identity Medicine: RIME is based in the United States and says they will focus on best mental health practices. "The MISSION of ReIME is to promote the highest standards of care and ethics in the area of identity medicine for children and youth."

Transgendertrend: This is a British group started due to rising parental concerns about significant increases in trans-identified minors, especially females. They believe girls have the right to sex-based protections in schools and law. They have some well-sourced material, even some written by social science professionals, and a school resource pack that provides an alternative approach to dealing with gender identity in schools. @Transgendertrd

Transrational: This is a group of trans people from the U.S. and U.K. who provide alternative viewpoints (generally middle ground) to the ones heard from more militant activists, or even mainstream LGBT media. They support both sex-based protections based on female biology and building resources for trans people. According to their manifesto at the time of writing this, they support a depoliticization of the discussion around transitioning children. @rational_trans

The Velvet Chronicle: This is a blog by and for lesbians by writers (and couple) Julia Robertson and Cludia Lucas Robertson.
